Q. How do I cite a book, journal article, website, etc?

Answer

Please visit the following citation guides for information on how to cite in APA, Harvard, and MLA-- the three approved styles at USP. Information on referencing and formatting your references page is here as well: http://www.usp.ac.fj/index.php?id=14270

In addition, Proquest and some other databases have a "cite" button  which will generate citations for you. If you find the article in the Proquest database, click on the article title. On the right hand side you'll see a "cite" button. Click it. Use the dropdown menu to select which citation style you want... i.e. Harvard, or APA, etc. Then click "change" and your citation will appear for you to copy and paste the citation into your document.
