I lost a book from the library. What happens next?

Answer

Lost and *damaged books will incur a replacement cost plus a processing fee, instead of the overdue fine accrued.

If the item is found within 30 days of being paid for and returned to the Library, a refund will be made for the replacement costs but not for the processing fee or overdue fine. After 30 days, there will be no refunds.

Contact your local library for details of processing fees and replacement costs.

*By damage we mean that the book is beyond repair and/or is in no condition to be used by other borrowers.
