Q. How do I renew an item?

Answer

A renewal extends the amount of time a borrower can keep a library item on loan. One renewal per item is allowed, except in the case of reserve collection items. An item may be renewed provided no one has placed a reservation for it. Borrowers must bring items to the main issue desk for renewal.

Academic staff and postgraduate students may renew loans through email. The borrower must provide their borrower barcode number and the accession number of the book. The borrower is then given the new due date by email and is asked to write it in on the date due label.
